Had an amazing time, firstly the food in the restaurant was top-notch. We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday lunch where the beef tasted like it was from a time when meat had real flavor and the Yorkshire pudding was perfectly fluffy.

It wasn't exactly on the budget side but still manageable.

Had a lovely weekend getaway with my partner, enjoying the cozy four poster bed and the delicious roast lamb dinner. The garden area was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea or taking a stroll through the beautiful surroundings. The stay was quite pleasant, particularly thanks to the beautiful scenery around the area and the charming historic décor throughout the property. The restaurant experience was a highlight, with some excellent meals that really stood out, especially the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Unfortunately, the noise from the creaky floorboards in the attic room was somewhat bothersome at times, but overall, it was a lovely escape.

Had an awesome time with friends! Perfect spot for loads of fun, we went canoeing on the river Wye and enjoyed high wire adventures at Go Ape. The bar was a great hangout after a long day. The staff were super friendly and helped us out with everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and comfy.

There were some creaky floorboards in our attic room which could be noisy if neighbors got up early, but it was manageable.
